Bio

Christina V. Anthony is a Los Angeles-based writer, comedian, and actor. She is premiering her one-woman show I Hope You Heal at the Hollywood Fringe Festival this June 2024.

She is the host/producer of the comedy variety show God Save the Queen, performed @ the Upright Citizens Brigade & The Elysian Theater, featuring improv inspired by iconic Bollywood films. From 2017-2020 she taught and directed improv at the Philly Improv Theater where she also performed weekly with Saturday Night House Team Overlook, Harold Team Fan Club, and all-POC comedy troupe NYTEShift. After being awarded scholarships, she studied at The Second City (Chicago), Upright Citizens Brigade (LA), and Magnet Theater (NYC).

Published writing (Broad Street Review, Monarch, Studio Magazine, The Oaklandside) includes think pieces exploring her Indian-American identity as well as reviews covering theatre, art, and pop culture.

She has performed at festivals nationwide including: Del Close Marathon (New York City), Philadelphia Fringe Festival (Philadelphia), and North Carolina Comedy Festival (Greensboro, NC).
